Whatever the game and whether it's art, crafts, toys, cosplay, animations or anything creative, if it's awesome enough I'll share with you wonderful readers!]
Metroid Pendant
Etsy user?CriticalHitShop?is a dealer providing hand-made jewellery and gifts based on video games and other ?nerd? culture. This particular item is a perfect for all you sci-fi gaming fans out there; a Metroid pendant.
Made out of polished brass, it has red gems for eyes and an 18? chain (which can be made longer by request). It?s a deadly yet cute representation of the little brain-suckers, with sharp fangs and symbolic markings.
Super Mario Lamp
Here?s another fantastic Etsy item this week, which also means that this too is purchasable. Despite Mario always being labelled a plumber, it seems that plumbing is the only thing he?doesn?t?do. Sure, he does sports, karting, princess-rescuing and space-travelling to name a few hobbies, but I?d wager that it?s been a while since he?s twisted a pipe.
These amazing?Mario Bros. Theme Industrial Pipe Lamp?sees the cheerful Italian go back to basics, with you pulling him down the pipe to switch the light on and off. It?s a little on the pricey side at?$180 /??120, but with real pipes and painted wood, it?s a quality product. The appearance and concept of this item is also just simply genius.
The Last of Us Clicker Cosplay
Prepare yourself for perhaps the most horrifying cosplay you?ll ever see. The Last of Us is undoubtedly the most effective and engaging survival horror in years, and without question a contender for one of the best games of this generation. Contributing to that glory are the game?s most disturbing enemy, the Clickers.
What?s so impressive and terrifying about this is just how unbelievably accurate these costumes are. Cosplayers?Amie Lynn and Richard Roth look like they really are infected, with the fungal cordyceps appearing as though it has engulfed their heads. Add in excellently tattered clothing, convincing blood-drenching and great photography (by?Mike Rollerson) and this is by far the scariest/greatest thing I?ve seen all week.
